Central Dauphin 34, Cedar Crest 24
The Lady Falcons returned to action Saturday evening after defeating Hempfield on Friday night, traveling to Elizabethtown College to face the undefeated Central Dauphin Rams.
Early on, the Cedar Crest defense set the tone, holding Central Dauphin scoreless in the 1st quarter. That defensive effort allowed Crest to build a 5–0 lead, with all of the game’s early scoring coming from Kaila Francis.
In the 2nd quarter, Central Dauphin found its offensive rhythm, responding to take a 14–6 lead into halftime. The momentum continued in the 3rd quarter as the Rams added to their advantage while the Falcons struggled to generate offense. Cedar Crest showed signs of recovery in the 4th quarter, but the deficit from the middle portion of the game proved too much to overcome.
Elli Malinoski led Cedar Crest with 8 points, while Francis finished with 7.
Cedar Crest (3–3) will return home on Tuesday to host McCaskey.

Trinity 71, Lebanon 39
After grinding out a win on Friday night against McCaskey, the Cedars hit the road Saturday afternoon to face Trinity. The game was close early, with Olive Brandt scoring 9 points in the 1st quarter, but the Shamrocks still held a 16-13 edge after one. Trinity added to the lead in the 2nd quarter, taking a 40-25 advantage into halftime.
In the 3rd quarter, Brandt knocked down two three-pointers, but Trinity continued to pull away, maintaining control through the remainder of the game.
Brandt finished with a team-high 19 points. She was joined in double figures by Tayana Camuy, who scored 11 points and was the only Lebanon player to score in all four quarters.
Lebanon (2-4) will now have a couple of days off before hosting Penn Manor on Tuesday evening.

Cedar Crest 42, Hempfield 29
The Lady Falcons opened Section 1 play on Friday night by hosting Hempfield. The first half was tightly contested, with Cedar Crest heading into the locker room holding a slim 18–16 lead behind 12 points from leading scorer Elli Malinoski.
In the 3rd quarter, the Falcons began to pull away as the offense found its rhythm, again led by Malinoski, who added 7 more points. Cedar Crest outscored Hempfield 14–7 in the frame to build separation.
Entering the 4th quarter with a 32–23 advantage, the Falcons continued to apply pressure. Kaila Francis scored 4 points down the stretch to help seal the victory.
Malinoski finished the game with 19 points, including three three-pointers.
Cedar Crest (3–2) will return to action on Saturday when they travel to take on Central Dauphin.

Annville-Cleona 66, Linden Hall 7
On Friday night, Annville-Cleona hosted Linden Hall and wasted no time taking control of the game. The Dutchmen jumped out to a decisive 20-4 lead in the 1st quarter, with Georgia Sellers scoring 10 points to set the tone early. By halftime, Annville-Cleona had built a commanding 31-7 advantage.
The dominance continued in the 2nd half, as the Dutchmen shut down Linden Hall defensively and outscored their guests 35-0 over the final two quarters.
Every Annville-Cleona player found the scoresheet, while Sellers finished with a game-high 14 points.
Annville-Cleona (2-2) will return to action on Monday when they travel to face Lancaster County Christian.

New Covenant 53, Covenant Christian 36
On Friday, New Covenant hosted Covenant Christian looking to move to 3-0 on the season. Early on, it was McKenna Kantner who carried the offensive load, while the Flames’ defense limited Covenant’s opportunities. By the end of the 1st quarter, New Covenant held a 9-3 lead, with Kantner scoring 7 points.
Covenant responded in the 2nd quarter, using a strong stretch to pull even at 18-18 by halftime.
The game shifted decisively in the 3rd quarter as New Covenant surged behind Qynne Demler, who poured in 14 points in the frame. The Flames outscored Covenant 22-10 in the quarter to build a 40-28 advantage.
In the 4th quarter, Kantner took over once again, scoring 11 points as part of her game-high 23-point performance to help seal the victory. Demler finished with 20 points, and both players knocked down three three-pointers in the win.
New Covenant (3-0) will return to action on Monday night when they host Lititz Christian.

Our Lady of the Cross 33, Innovative Arts 16
Our Lady of the Cross hosted their home opener against Innovative Arts Academy, a school located in Catasauqua, and made the most of the friendly confines of their home gym.
The Lions raced out to a 12–0 lead by the end of the first quarter, with Carolyn Frey setting the tone early by scoring four points. Innovative Arts found some offense in the second quarter, but OLC maintained control and carried a 20–7 advantage into halftime.
In the third quarter, Jasmine Ambriz provided a spark, scoring six points as the Lions continued to build their lead. An evenly played fourth quarter sealed the victory for the home team.
Ambriz finished with a game-high 10 points to lead OLC, while six different players found the scoring column in a balanced offensive effort.
In a matchup of LebCo’s private schools, Our Lady of the Cross (2–3) will travel to New Covenant on Tuesday.

Lebanon 50, McCaskey 31
On Friday night, Lebanon hosted McCaskey as the Cedars looked to rebound from Monday’s road loss to Reading. Early on, the game was tightly contested, with Lebanon holding a slim 24–21 lead at halftime. Olive Brandt was once again the focal point of the Cedars’ offense, scoring 10 points in the first half.
The tone of the game shifted dramatically in the 3rd quarter, as Lebanon’s defense held McCaskey scoreless to break the game wide open. While the Red Tornadoes found the basket again in the 4th quarter, it was too little, too late, as the Cedars continued to build the lead through the final buzzer.
Despite an uncharacteristic night at the free-throw line (9-for-17), Brandt still paced Lebanon with 32 points and connected on seven of her final eight attempts. Nina Harrison joined her in double figures with 11 points, providing a strong two-way effort and going 7-for-8 from the foul line.
Lebanon (2-3) will look to carry the momentum forward when they travel to face Trinity on Saturday.

Entering Thursday night’s Section 3 opener against Donegal, the Lady Raiders held a 4-0 record and came out strong, making it clear they were ready to push it to a perfect 5-0.
In the 1st quarter, ELCO set the tone by outscoring Donegal 17-5, led by 7 points from Kenzie Eckhart. In the 2nd quarter, Donegal settled in, but 4 points from Ava Beck helped protect the ELCO advantage, giving the Raiders a 25-14 lead at halftime.
Coming out of the break, Donegal continued to inch back, cutting the deficit to just five points by the end of the 3rd quarter. However, in the 4th, ELCO broke away behind 6 more points from Eckhart and strong team free-throw shooting to secure the win.
Eckhart finished with a team-high 15 points as the Raiders earned the 13-point victory.
For ELCO, the celebration was muted as senior Maddie Stout exited in the 1st quarter with an apparent knee injury that may threaten an early end to her season.
As ELCO (5-0) awaits further news on their teammate, they will begin preparations for Monday night’s road trip to Lampeter-Strasburg.

Manheim Central 35, Northern Lebanon 32
In a battle of undefeated teams, Northern Lebanon visited Manheim Central on Thursday evening—and the matchup lived up to the hype. The game remained tight from start to finish.
In the 1st quarter, Kasey Weimer went a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line, but the Lady Vikings still trailed 8-7 entering the 2nd. That quarter produced the highest scoring of the night, with the Barons outpacing Northern Lebanon 11-9 to take a three-point lead into halftime, despite Hayley Sheroky scoring 8 points to keep NL within striking distance.
The 3rd quarter followed the same pattern, with Manheim Central adding just one point to its advantage. In the 4th, Weimer scored 5 points, including a three-pointer, but Northern Lebanon couldn’t generate enough offense to overcome the Barons’ strong defensive effort.
Weimer led the Lady Vikings with 14 points, including a 7-for-8 performance from the free-throw line. Sheroky also finished in double figures with 10 points.
Northern Lebanon (4-1) will open Section 3 play on Monday when they host Donegal.

On Wednesday night, Cedar Crest hosted William Penn (York). The Bearcats jumped out to an early lead in a low-scoring 1st quarter despite 4 points from Kaila Francis, which included a three-pointer by the forward. The trend continued into the 2nd quarter, as York extended its advantage to 23–12 by halftime.
The 3rd quarter saw offense stall for both teams, with just 12 combined points scored, allowing York to widen the gap even further. In the 4th quarter, the Lady Falcons finally made a push, with Elli Malinoski and Francis each adding 4 points, but the late surge wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit.
Francis finished with 12 points, while Malinoski added 8.
Cedar Crest (2–2) will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Hempfield.

In their home game against Cedar Cliff, the Lady Cougars fell behind early and, despite a late push, could not close the gap.
In the game, Palmyra was led by seniors Mya Doster and Addi Salus. Doster finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals, while Salus recorded 7 points and 7 rebounds.
Palmyra (3-1) will make the short trip to Milton Hershey on Friday night.

After dropping their first two games of the season, the Dutchmen hit the road on Tuesday night to face Octorara. Early in the game, it was clear they were determined to avoid an 0-3 start.
Balanced scoring in the opening frame allowed Annville-Cleona to build a 12-5 lead by the end of the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter, the Braves cut into the margin slightly, but the Dutchmen still held a 5-point edge at halftime, led by 6 points from Valeria Russo.
The 3rd quarter proved decisive, as Annville broke away for good by outscoring Octorara 18-2. In that stretch, Cait Shayscored 8 points to fuel the surge. The strong defensive effort continued the rest of the way, helping the Dutchmen secure their first victory of the season.
In the game, Dana Hoover led the scoring with 9 points, while Shay and Georgia Sellers each contributed 8.
Annville-Cleona (1-2) will host Linden Hall on Friday.

The Lady Raiders put their 3–0 record on the line with a visit to Warwick on Monday night. They came out firing in the 1st quarter, with Maddie Stout, Ava Seifert, and Ava Beck each hitting three-pointers as they built a 13–9 lead. In the 2nd quarter, Riley Bennethum joined the splashfest, while Beck and Seifert again connected from long range to help ELCO take a 24–21 advantage into halftime.
In the 3rd quarter, Warwick continued to close the gap, but Beck’s third three of the night and steady scoring from across the lineup allowed ELCO to maintain a narrow one-point lead.
Entering the 4th quarter up 51–50 in a game that could have slipped away, Kenzie Eckhart took control. After scoring 7 points through the first three quarters, the senior erupted for 10 in the final frame. Stout added 6 more as the Raiders held on for the hard-fought victory.
ELCO (4–0) will host Donegal on Thursday.
