Lebanon 66, Biglerville 33

Lebanon bounced back on Saturday afternoon in the Northern Lebanon Tip-Off Tournament consolation game, defeating Biglerville behind an inspired team effort and a historic performance from Olive Brandt.

Playing with a renewed edge after Friday’s loss, the Cedars opened strong as Nina Harrison knocked down two three-pointers in the 1st quarter and Brandt, who entered the day with 967 career points, added 6 of her own. Lebanon led 18–10 after the opening frame.

The Cedars continued to roll in the 2nd quarter, fueled by two additional threes from Brandt, building a 33–18 halftime advantage. The 3rd quarter was Lebanon’s best offensively, as they poured in 23 points and shared the scoring load. Brandt, Harrison, and Skylar Strickler each connected from beyond the arc, while Jezauni Hernandez chipped in 4 points.

With the outcome well in hand entering the 4th quarter, one major highlight remained: Brandt scored her 33rd and 34th points late in the game, pushing her past the 1,000-point milestone for her varsity career. She now joins her grandfather, Tom Brandt, on the banners that line the walls of Lebanon’s home gymnasium.
