Annville-Cleona Boys Basketball Season Outlook
Annville-Cleona enters the 2025–26 season looking to reshape its identity after graduating two of the program’s most accomplished players: Elisha Slabach and Jon Shay, both 1,000-point scorers who carried a major share of the offensive workload. The Dutchmen finished 12–10 last season despite battling several key injuries, adding confidence that a healthier roster can push the program forward.
This year’s squad is young but talented, anchored by its lone senior, Hudson Sellers, whose leadership will be vital. Juniors Lane Peters and Chris Bailey join a talented sophomore class featuring Max Ortwein, James Garney, John Ditzler, Levi Custer, and Danny Shay. Many of these players come from the football program, which exceeded expectations this past fall, bringing toughness, discipline, and a competitive edge to the basketball floor.
The goals remain consistent for Coach Coletti’s group: earn a spot in the LL League Playoffs and qualify for Districts. The Dutchmen pride themselves on relentless effort, and fans can expect a team that may be young but will outwork everyone they face.
With a motivated roster, a core of multi-sport athletes, and emerging leaders among the underclassmen, Annville-Cleona looks to compete with toughness, represent its community with pride, and build toward another postseason run.
