First Team All-County

LebCo Offensive Player of the Year / Co-MVP

Tyler Peck – Palmyra (Sr.)

A cornerstone of the Palmyra baseball program over the past four years, Tyler Peck capped off his high school career with a senior season to remember — one defined by leadership, power, and clutch hitting.

The senior catcher started all 25 games for the Cougars, anchoring both the lineup and the defense from behind the plate. A consistent force throughout the season, Peck led the entire Mid Penn Conference in extra-base hits and home runs, finishing with a staggering .490 batting average and an eye-popping 1.684 OPS. His offensive firepower included 17 extra-base hits — among them 7 home runs and 3 triples — and he drove in 26 RBIs.

More than just a power threat, Peck was a clutch performer, delivering three game-winning hits to help push Palmyra to one of its strongest seasons in program history. His efforts earned him 1st Team Mid Penn honors and recognition as a 2nd Team All-State selection.

Peck’s performance this year not only solidified his reputation as one of the most dangerous hitters in Central Pennsylvania, but also opened the door to the next chapter of his baseball journey. He will continue his academic and athletic career at Bishop State Community College in Alabama — the same path once taken by former Palmyra standout and current Miami Marlins prospect Gage Miller.

With his mix of leadership, experience, and elite-level production, Peck leaves behind a lasting legacy at Palmyra and heads to the next level poised to make an immediate impact.

LebCo Pitcher of the Year / Co-MVP

Jonathan Strohecker – Palmyra (Sr.)

After showing steady progression throughout his time at Palmyra, Jonathan Strohecker saved his best for last — delivering a dominant senior season that not only cemented his legacy but also helped elevate the Cougars to new heights.

Building off a junior year in which he earned LebCoSports.com Co-Pitcher of the Year honors by posting a 1.24 ERA, 61 strikeouts, and a 0.889 WHIP, Strohecker returned as the undisputed ace of a senior-laden Palmyra squad. The result? He led the Cougars to a perfect 20-0 regular season, a Mid Penn Championship, and a trip to the PIAA State Quarterfinals.

Strohecker went 7-0 in the regular season and 9-1 overall, commanding the mound with poise, power, and precision. In 69.0 innings, he struck out 87 batters, walked just 15, and allowed only 17 total runs across 10 appearances. He posted a 0.83 ERA in the regular season and 1.63 ERA overall, with a WHIP of 0.860 and a minuscule opponent batting average of .176 in the regular season (.183 overall). As a result of his outstanding performance, Strohecker was named a First Team All-State selection.

One of the defining moments of the season — and of Strohecker’s high school career — came in the first round of the State Playoffs, where he earned the win over previously undefeated Pittston (23-0). The performance marked one of the biggest victories in Palmyra program history and showcased Strohecker’s ability to rise to the occasion on the biggest stage.

From his breakout sophomore year — when he posted a 1.57 ERA and earned 2nd Team LebCo All-County honors — to his emergence as the Cougars’ go-to arm in junior year District Playoff wins, Strohecker’s journey has been marked by continuous growth and elite-level consistency.

Now, after a decorated high school career, Strohecker is set to continue his academic and athletic journey at James Madison University, where he’ll look to bring the same competitive edge and command that made him one of Pennsylvania’s top high school pitchers.

Defensively, Santana was a reliable anchor at third base, committing just two errors all year — an impressive feat that contributed to one of the most complete teams in program history.
