We’re excited to announce the nominees for the 2025 LebCo All-County Softball Team! It wasn’t easy narrowing down the list—there was a lot of talent in the county past year. Now, we need your help to decide who takes home top honors.

Cast your vote for Offensive Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, & Rookie of the Year.

Palmyra: Finished 4-16 playing in the Mid Penn Keystone

The Nominees

Offensive Player of the Year

Lynsie Mauser (Northern Lebanon / Sr.)

Mauser was a two-way standout for the Vikings and earned 2nd Team All-State honors in Class 4A, along with 1st Team recognition in LL Section 3. At the plate, she posted a .512 batting average and a .552 OBP, collecting 41 hits. She totaled 15 extra-base hits—including 5 triples and 3 home runs—while driving in 30 runs, scoring 33 times, and swiping 7 bases.

 

Kate Poorman (Cedar Crest / Jr.)

Poorman brought steady production to the Falcons’ lineup, batting .382 with a .413 OBP. She tallied 21 hits, including 5 doubles, and drove in 25 runs while scoring 16 times. Playing third base, she earned Honorable Mention in LL Section 1 for her efforts.

 

Kate Shenk (Palmyra / Jr.)

Shenk helped power the Cougars’ offense with a .413 batting average and a .460 OBP. She recorded 19 hits, 9 RBIs, and 9 runs scored, while also swiping 10 bases to provide speed on the basepaths. Shenk was selected 3rd Team – Mid Penn Keystone.

 

Olivia Shutter (Northern Lebanon / Sr.)

Shutter made a major impact in her senior season, earning 1st Team honors in LL Section 3. She batted .450 with a .494 OBP, racking up 36 hits, 2 home runs, 17 RBIs, 32 runs scored, and 3 stolen bases for the Vikings.

 

Gabby Smith (ELCO / Sr.)

Smith turned in a monster season for the Raiders, hitting .558 with a .622 OBP. She blasted 13 home runs among her 23 extra-base hits and led the way with 43 hits, 33 RBIs, and 44 runs scored. Her production earned her 1st Team honors in LL Section 3. She’ll be taking her talents to South Carolina to play collegiately at Southern Wesleyan University.

 

Danika Setlock (Annville-Cleona / Sr.)

Setlock starred at shortstop for the Dutchmen, hitting .517 with a .594 OBP. She recorded 30 hits, 15 of them for extra bases—including 2 home runs—while driving in 23 runs and scoring 25. She also added 7 stolen bases and was named 1st Team in LL Section 4. 

 

Sereniti Zidik (Lebanon / Sr.)

Zidik capped off her career with an impressive offensive campaign, batting .463 with a .560 OBP. She drove in 9 runs, scored 16, and added 4 doubles, 1 triple, and 4 stolen bases as a key contributor for the Cedars.

 

 


 

 

Pitcher of the Year

Temperence Brubaker (Annville-Cleona / So.)

Brubaker earned 1st Team honors in LL Section 4 after an impressive sophomore year for the Dutchmen. She threw 60.2 innings over 11 starts, compiling a 4-3 record with 66 strikeouts and just 18 walks. Her 2.65 ERA and .272 opponents’ batting average underscored her consistency and control in the circle.

 

Emalyn Funck (Palmyra / Fr.)

Funck stepped up as the Cougars’ primary pitcher in her freshman season, showing poise beyond her years. She collected 4 wins and racked up an impressive 95 strikeouts. Opposing batters managed only 10 extra-base hits against her all season, highlighting her effectiveness.

 

Addison Hollenbach (Northern Lebanon / Jr.)

Hollenbach was a force on the mound for the Vikings, earning 1st Team honors in LL Section 3. Over 53.2 innings and 9 starts, she compiled a 6-1 record and struck out 99 batters. Her 2.21 ERA further cemented her as one of the top arms in the county.

 

Lynsie Mauser (Northern Lebanon / Sr.)

Mauser delivered a dominant senior season for the Vikings, earning 2nd Team All-State honors in Class 4A. She posted an 8-4 record across 11 starts, logging 75.2 innings and striking out 93 batters. Her 1.48 ERA helped solidify Northern Lebanon’s success in the circle.

 

Addison Nolen (Cedar Crest / Jr.)

Nolen anchored the Falcons’ rotation as a junior, logging 33.2 innings across the season. Despite a 3-5 record, she posted two complete games and held opposing hitters to a .308 batting average. She struck out 20 batters and brought steady leadership to the circle for Cedar Crest.

 

Gabby Smith (ELCO / Sr.)

Smith served as the primary pitcher for the Raiders as they won 18 games, their most in a season since 1997. The senior finished her career with 639 strikeouts, leaving behind a new program record at ELCO.

 

Sereniti Zidik (Lebanon / Sr.)
A four-year starter for the Cedars, Zidik wrapped up her high school career with a strong senior campaign. She pitched 70.1 innings, tallying 72 strikeouts and recording 3 wins while serving as the team’s workhorse throughout the season.

 

 

 

 


Flashback: 2024 LebCo All-County Team


 

Rookie of the Year

Emalyn Funck (Palmyra / Fr.)

Funck made an immediate impact for the Cougars as both a pitcher and hitter. Offensively, she batted .327 with a .407 OBP, collecting 17 hits, 9 RBIs, and 10 runs scored, while stealing 12 bases. On the mound, she served as Palmyra’s primary pitcher, earning 4 wins and racking up 95 strikeouts while limiting opponents to just 10 extra-base hits.

 

Justine Geyer (ELCO / Fr.)

Geyer provided strong production in her freshman campaign with the Raiders, batting .375 and reaching base at a .430 clip. She notched 27 hits, drove in 26 runs, scored 14 times, and recorded 6 extra-base hits—including a home run.

 

Athena Griffiths (Lebanon / Fr.)

Called up midseason, Griffiths made the most of her opportunities in 9 games for the Cedars. She batted .438 with a .526 OBP, collecting 7 hits, 4 RBIs, 8 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases in limited action.

 

Ryleigh Hopkins (Northern Lebanon / Fr.)

Hopkins earned 1st Team honors in LL Section 3 following a strong freshman year for the Vikings. She hit .310 with a .420 OBP, totaled 18 hits, 8 RBIs, 17 runs scored, and added 2 stolen bases.

 

Mia Lutz (Cedar Crest / Fr.)

Lutz contributed to the Falcons’ lineup as an outfielder, hitting .333 with a .508 OBP. She scored 15 runs and drove in 11, earning Honorable Mention recognition in LL Section 1.

 

Stephanie Palkovic (Northern Lebanon / Fr.)

Palkovic earned Honorable Mention in LL Section 3 after a productive freshman season with the Vikings. She hit .322 with a .397 OBP, tallying 19 hits—including 5 for extra bases—along with 12 RBIs, 10 runs scored, and 3 steals.

 

Ava Rosario (Cedar Crest / Fr.)

Rosario stood out at second base for the Falcons, earning Honorable Mention in LL Section 1. She batted .425 with a .550 OBP, collecting 20 hits, 15 RBIs, and 25 runs scored.

 

Rayven Soliday (Lebanon / So.)

Soliday patrolled centerfield for the Cedars and delivered a strong sophomore season. She batted .424 with a .487 OBP, tallied 15 hits—including a home run—drove in 7 runs, and scored 4.

 

Gwen Zimmerman (Cedar Crest / Fr.)

Zimmerman shined at shortstop for the Falcons, earning 1st Team honors in LL Section 1. She hit .428 with a .517 OBP, collecting 21 hits, 18 RBIs, and 16 runs scored in her standout rookie campaign.
