Lancaster League Wrestling Championships: LebCo Wrestlers Combine for Thirty-Two Medals, Three Gold; ELCO Finishes 2nd Overall

On Saturday, male and female wrestlers from Annville-Cleona, Cedar Crest, ELCO, Lebanon, and Northern Lebanon took to the mats for the second and final day of the Lancaster Lebanon League Wrestling Championships. The event culminated in a total of thirty-two medals awarded to competitors from these schools. Notably, each of the five LebCo schools secured at least one medal. Overall, it was a fantastic day for local wrestlers, who proudly represented their schools and communities.

Northern Lebanon had three gold medalists, including Aaron Seidel, who won his fourth straight LL League Championship. He was joined on the podium by teammates Sam Wolfold, now a two-time champion, and Karter Adams. The Vikings finished the day with six medals on their way to a fifth-place team finish.

ELCO was the top LebCo team, finishing only behind Conestoga Valley. The point total was aided by the Raiders earning nine medals, including five silvers. Overall, it was an impressive performance by the Section 3 Champions.

As Girls Wrestling continues to grow across Pennsylvania, the Lancaster Lebanon League held its second official tournament. Due to the number of entries, medals are only awarded to the top four finishers as opposed to the top eight on the boys’ side. Even with the limited number of medals, LebCo wrestlers combined to win twelve medals, including five silvers.
