On a sunny, Autumn day, with temperatures in the mid-50s, the twenty-two teams from the Lancaster Lebanon League met to race to determine who would be considered the best and also who would qualify for Districts.
Last season, an effort was made to move Lancaster Lebanon League Cross Country Championship Meet to South Hills Park for the first time. After a successful 2023, the event was held in South Lebanon for the 2nd straight year.
Below are the LebCo specific results from the races. It is noted where teams qualified for the District 3 Championship Meet, which will be held at Big Spring High School on October 26th. However, we are still working to confirm which individuals may have also qualified.

Girls
Three LebCo runners finished in the top twenty-five spots to earn medals. Leading the way was Annville’s Mackenzie Stellmach in 11th place, followed closely by Cedar Crest’s Eliana Schneider in 13th place. Finishing 17th was Lucy Stellmach, the freshman sister to Mackenzie.
Each of these runners led the efforts of their teams to qualify for Districts. Cedar Crest finished 6th overall, with Audrey Fugate (32nd), Margaret Cuthie (50th), Clara Schneider (57th), and Samantha Yorty (59th) crossing the line to close out the scoring. Annville-Cleona finished 10th overall but was the top AA team in the race. Besides the Stellmach sisters, the Dutchmen were aided in the scoring department by Caitlin Shay (48th), Emily Shearer (86th), and Madi Long (96th).
Manheim Township won their third straight League Championship, led by Elena Barrall who finished 1st overall with a time of 18:14.4.

Mid Penn Championships – Palmyra Results
Boys
Cedar Crest, Annville-Cleona, and Northern Lebanon each qualified for Districts with solid races at the Lancaster Lebanon League Meet.
Travis Furmanski of Cedar Crest was the first LebCo runner to complete the race, traversing the 5,000 meters in 15:54.1 to take 4th overall. In 5th place was Annville’s Oliver Funck with a time of 16:02.1. Joining the pair of top ten finishers in collecting medals were Annville’s David Moran (15th), Crest’s Viseth Meng (21st), Northern Lebanon’s Luke Hentz (23rd), Lebanon’s Gavin Sheetz (24th), and Crest’s Anthony Figueroa (25th).
For the Falcons, their 3rd place finish qualified them for the District 3 AAA Championship race. Besides Furmanski, Meng, and Figueroa, Cedar Crest, saw their top five rounded out by Zachary Margut (31st) and Arturo Chavez-Ramirez (41st).
The Dutchmen, who won the PIAA 1A Championship last year, took the top AA spot among all Lancaster Lebanon League Teams to qualify for Districts. They were 10th overall. In addition to Funck and Moran, Landon Hostetter (38th), Matt Clemson (56th), and Benjamin Boyd (68th) closed out the scoring.
Northern Lebanon aimed to nab one of the AA spots as well and did so by finishing 2nd in the classification and 11th overall.
The overall team title was won by Manheim Township who took the top three spots with Adam Kingston crossing the line 1st in a time of 15:10.5.
