Head Coach: Matt Kantner, 5th season

New Covenant Boys Basketball Season Outlook

Last season, the Flames went 11-11 and lost in the 1st round of the CCAC Playoffs to Linville Hill. They enter this season losing their top two scorers from that team, including Ben Hartman, who scored 20 points per game. With that said, Coach Kantner returns several seniors this year, creating a deeper squad overall than he had last year. They will focus on a more team-oriented approach, getting others involved. This depth, which includes several younger players, will aid them as they face the grind of the regular season and hopefully beyond. If they can focus on the fundamentals, New Covenant could be in the hunt for a District Playoff spot.
