Cedar Crest opened its weekend with a strong road performance on Friday night, rolling to a 15-2 win over Daniel Boone. The Falcons set the tone early and controlled the action throughout, picking up a convincing victory to start what turned into a perfect two-game stretch.

On Friday, Grant Reesor led the Cedar Crest attack with 6 goals and 5 assists, while Nolan Brubaker added 5 goals of his own. Jaxon Bucher contributed 1 goal and 2 assists, Cam Hansell posted 1 goal and 1 assist, and both Connor McCracken and Joe Menicheschi scored once in the win.

Defensively in the Daniel Boone game, Paxton Thomas made 8 saves, while Austen Eckert added 3 saves as the Falcons limited Daniel Boone to just 2 goals.

Cedar Crest returned home on Saturday and kept that momentum going with another dominant effort, this time beating Elizabethtown 15-3. The Falcons once again got production all over the field, completing the weekend sweep and improving to 4-3 on the season.

In Saturday’s win, Grant Reesor followed up Friday’s outburst with 5 goals and 5 assists. Nolan Brubaker added 3 goals and 2 assists, while Jaxon Bucher finished with 1 goal and 3 assists. Ben Rohland scored 2 goals, Connor McCracken had 1 goal and 1 assist, and Cam Hansell, Urijah Gibble, and Dakota Biever each scored once. Joe Menicheschi and Nick Sweinhart both added assists.

In goal on Saturday, Paxton Thomas recorded 11 saves and Wyatt Belcher added 1 save as Cedar Crest held Elizabethtown to 3 goals.

Cedar Crest is now 4-3 on the season. They will look to build on the momentum of their two-game winning streak when they travel to face the Penn Manor Comets on Monday.
