New Covenant Dominates York Catholic in Straight Sets

New Covenant rolled to a 3-0 win over York Catholic on Tuesday, earning a straight-set road victory by scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-16.

The Flames controlled the St. Patrick’s day match from the opening serve and never let York Catholic get comfortable, using a balanced offensive effort and strong serving to stay in command throughout the night.

Ryan Delvalle paced New Covenant with 13 kills and 5 aces, while Sam Rotunda directed the attack with 13 assists and a team-high 6 aces. Adrian Groff added 5 kills, and both Josiah Martin and Kadden Kantner chipped in 3 kills apiece.

With the win, New Covenant improved to 2-0 on the season. The Flames are scheduled to host West Shore Christian on Wednesday night.
