On Sunday, the 4th annual Lebanon Girls Wrestling Tournament held at Lebanon Junior High School, a tournament that has become a premier Girls Wrestling event, drawing 28 teams from across Pennsylvania.

The team title went to Cumberland Valley, which finished with 170.5 points, ahead of runner-up Upper Perkiomen (143.5), and third-place Upper Merion (105.0). ELCO was the top LebCo team, coming in 5th with a team score of 92.5, closely followed by 6th place finisher Northern Lebanon with 91.5.

In the individual brackets, LebCo wrestlers combined for nine medals and made plenty of noise at the top of the podium. The charge was led by three champions — Kylee Trostle (ELCO, 112), Lily Harchuska (Cedar Crest, 124), and Anna Lanka (Northern Lebanon, 130) — as the Raiders, Falcons, and Vikings each walked away with a tournament winner.

LebCo’s depth showed up behind them as well, with four more wrestlers reaching the finals and earning silver medals: Isabella Poole Martinez (Lebanon, 100), Cadence Manney (Palmyra, 130), Dakota Dengler (Northern Lebanon, 148), and Madelyn Zimmerman (ELCO, 190). Rounding out the medal haul, Reminisce Perez (Northern Lebanon, 136) and Madelyn Shanfelder (Cedar Crest, 142) battled through deep brackets to secure fourth-place finishes, helping the county stack hardware across multiple weights and programs.

Below is a more in-depth recap of each LebCo team’s performance at the event.

Team Finish: 21st

Competing on its home mats, Lebanon had a standout run from Isabella Poole Martinez at 100, who reached the finals with two key pins — Madison Schulze (Upper Merion) in 1:02 and Keyra Seville (Upper Perkiomen) in 5:38. Poole Martinez finished as the runner-up after facing Ava Montes (Cumberland Valley) in the championship.

Lebanon also had several wrestlers gain valuable experience in a loaded field, including Ninoska Bonilla (190), who scored a 22-6 tech fall win to highlight the Cedars’ efforts.
