Falcon “C” Team Advances to Semifinals
The Falcon “C” Team went into the postseason firing on all cylinders, and it showed with a 26–7 win over the Solanco Mules. The defense was once again the star of the show, holding the Mules to only one score and limiting them to just two meaningful plays all game.
Alex Harter set the tone early with a huge interception and return that led to a Falcon touchdown. Manny Rimerezanchored the defensive line with a strong performance, while Cam Eggert made his presence felt at defensive end. The Falcon secondary also stepped up, completely shutting down any chance of a passing attack from the Mules.
Up Next: The Falcons now advance to the semifinals on Saturday, where they’ll face Lampeter-Strasburg.

BAYFL Championship v Schuylkill Valley

Myerstown Panthers Mites Battle to the End in BAYFL Championship
The Myerstown Panthers Mites left everything on the field Sunday afternoon at Muhlenberg High School, battling the Schuylkill Valley Panthers in a hard-hitting BAYFL Championship showdown that came down to the final minutes.
Schuylkill Valley struck first after forcing an early fumble and capitalizing five plays later for a touchdown and extra point to take a 7–0 lead. Myerstown responded immediately, driving deep into SV territory behind key plays from quarterback Bennett Staudt, who connected with Owen Hall for a clutch fourth-down conversion. Chase Clubb bulldozed through defenders for another first down at the nine-yard line, and Staudt hit Kaiden Vincent to move the chains again, but the drive stalled just short of the end zone.
The Myerstown defense adjusted on the next possession, turning up the pressure. Middle linebacker Luca Kirelawichbegan crashing the line, disrupting SV’s rhythm, while Quinn Campion and Lucas Witmer delivered key tackles. On fourth down, Jackson Liskey exploded off the edge for a tackle for loss, handing the ball back to Myerstown with seconds remaining in the half. Time ran out before they could convert, and the teams went to halftime with SV holding a slim 7–0 lead.
The second half opened with fireworks. Kicker Abraham Galindo blasted a deep kickoff, and Kaiden Vincent ripped the ball loose from the returner’s hands. Kirelawich pounced on the fumble, setting up Myerstown at the SV 46. The backfield trio of Hall, Vincent, and Clubb powered through the defense on a punishing nine-play drive capped by Vincent’s electrifying 9-yard touchdown run, where he broke multiple tackles to cross the goal line. The extra point attempt was stopped, but Myerstown had closed the gap to 7–6.
Momentum swung again on the ensuing kickoff as Galindo rolled a perfect kick up the sideline that SV mishandled, and Clubb recovered to give Myerstown possession once more. However, two plays later, SV forced a turnover of their own. As the third quarter expired, the opposing Panthers looked to extend their lead, but Chase Bair made a critical touchdown-saving tackle at the Myerstown 35.
Early in the fourth, Liskey delivered another highlight moment, storming around the edge for a crushing sack. Patrick Lehman followed with a key stop up the middle to halt the drive and return the ball to the Myerstown offense with just four minutes remaining. On first down, Vincent attempted to hit the edge but was stopped for no gain. On second down, Hall powered ahead for three yards. Facing third-and-seven, Staudt rolled out to his right and was met by an SV defender — he sidestepped the tackle and found Clubb downfield for a 10-yard completion and a first down. Just as the offense began to click, however, Schuylkill Valley made a few crucial plays to stall the drive and hold on to their slim one-point lead.
While the final score favored Schuylkill Valley, the Myerstown Panthers Mites walked off the field with their heads held high. They battled from the opening whistle to the final horn, showing grit, heart, and unity in every phase of the game. Returning to the BAYFL Championship for the second straight year, this team once again proved they belong among the league’s best — not only for their talent, but for their toughness, teamwork, and the relentless spirit that defines Myerstown football.

Viking Midgets Punch Ticket to the Super Bowl with 16-8 Win Over Hershey
The Viking Midgets came out strong on Saturday, setting the tone early against Hershey with a big defensive play. Luke Copenhaver jumped a pass in the first quarter, picking it off and giving the Vikings excellent field position. The offense capitalized on the momentum as Sam Kline powered through multiple defenders on an 8-yard touchdown run to put the Vikings on the board.
Hershey responded just before halftime, making it a close game heading into the break. The second half, however, turned into a tough defensive battle on both sides.
Midway through the third quarter, Luke Bennethum delivered the play of the day, bursting through the line and racing 59 yards downfield to the Hershey 7-yard line. A few plays later, Kline finished the drive with his second touchdown of the game. Titus Feagley remained perfect on the day, converting both extra points.
On defense, the Vikings continued to impose their will. Feagley forced a key fumble that was recovered by Kline, stopping a Hershey drive. As the clock wound down, Copenhaver sealed the win with his second interception of the afternoon.
Liam Good and Blayze Kimm anchored the defense, stepping up for multiple tackles and consistently disrupting plays.
Up Next: The Vikings will now battle Red Land in the Federal Conference Super Bowl on Sunday, November 9th.
