Voting will remain open until Thursday at 10 pm.
While athletes can be nominated multiple weeks, the winners will be removed and updates will be provided as the season progresses.
While this may be a vote and emotions can run high, this is intended to bring attention to some of the best performances from our local student-athletes.
Nominations, which are made working with the schools, are listed below in alphabetical order.
Please read about each nominee, celebrate their accomplishment, and then go vote who you feel is most deserving of this week’s honor.
The winners will be announced at the end of the week.

With only three teams in action last week, this week’s list of nominees is slimmer than usual. As a result, only one winner will be named in this week’s edition of LebCo Athlete of the Week.
That said, it should not take away from the talent of the individuals nominated.
Nominees
Maddie Stahl (Palmyra / So.) – Field Hockey: The sophomore continues to be a spark for the Cougars’ offense, helping lead Palmyra to wins over Gwynedd Mercy and Hershey in the first two rounds of the PIAA State Championship Tournament. In Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Hershey, Stahl opened the scoring to set the tone as the Cougars advanced to the State Semifinals.
Cody Landis (ELCO / Jr.) – Football: The junior lineman was a force on both sides of the ball throughout the season and closed the year with another strong performance in the District 3 Class 4A Quarterfinal at Susquehanna Township. Anchoring the offensive line at center and playing defensive tackle, Landis recorded eight tackles in the hard-fought playoff loss.
Jon Moran (Annville-Cleona / Sr.) – Football: The senior playmaker made an immediate impact in the District 3 Class 3A Semifinal, returning the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown to give the Dutchmen an early lead over Trinity. Moran later added a 16-yard rushing score in the second quarter, showcasing the grit and determination that defined Annville-Cleona’s impressive season.
