@ Donegal Braves

B Team (2-7)  Cedar Crest 24, Donegal 0

C Team (8-1) Cedar Crest 30, Donegal 7

D Team (4-5) Cedar Crest 25, Donegal 14

The Falcon “B” Team wrapped up their season with a tough 24–0 loss to a strong Donegal squad. Offensively, the Falcons moved the ball at times but couldn’t quite sustain drives, with a few costly fumbles halting their momentum. Defensively, the unit faced a challenging Donegal rushing attack.

The Falcon “C” Team finished their regular season on a high note with a convincing 30–7 victory over the Donegal Braves. The win capped an impressive 8–1 regular season and clinched a playoff berth for Cedar Crest.

The offense was led by Chase Reeseman, who ran for a touchdown and connected with Alex Harter on a long halfback pass for another score.

The special teams unit also delivered, as Caiden Campos nailed three extra points — a rare accomplishment in youth football.

Defensively, the Falcons continued their season-long trend of dominance, holding the Braves to minimal yardage and just one score. Reeseman added to the excitement with an interception return for a touchdown to seal the victory.

With the win, Cedar Crest advances to the Red Rose League Playoffs, where they’ll face the Solanco Mules on Saturday.

This past Sunday, the Falcons “D” Team traveled to Mount Joy to face the Donegal Braves.

Once again, the Falcons made it a great game — pulling away late to earn a 25–14 victory.

All four touchdowns were scored by Nico Aungst, who powered the offense from start to finish. The Falcons’ attack was also fueled by strong efforts from Matthew Hornick, Weston Elder, Carson Bugg, and Elias Cruz.

On defense, Nyle Kaley, Leo Avila, and Owen Miller led the way, anchoring a unit that once again rose to the occasion. Remarkably, this marked the third straight game in which the Falcons’ defense shut out their opponents in the second half.

The win capped off a hard-fought season, as the Falcons finished the year with a 4–5 record.

Up Next: On Saturday, the Falcon “C” Team will face Solanco in the Red Rose Playoffs.

BAYFL Semifinal v Kutztown Cougars

Mites (4-1-1)  Panthers 13, Cougars 0

Midgets (2-4-1)  Season Complete

Mighty Mites (2-4-1) Season Complete

For the second straight year, the Myerstown Panthers Mites are championship bound. In a rematch of their Week 2 meeting — an 18–14 loss to the Kutztown Cougars — the Panthers flipped the script in dominant fashion on Sunday, shutting out Kutztown 13–0 before a roaring crowd at Schuylkill Valley High School. Fueled by grit, discipline, and the deafening support of their fans, Myerstown delivered its most complete performance of the season to punch its ticket to the title game.

The Panthers received the opening kickoff but were forced to punt after a short drive. Kutztown managed a fourth-down conversion before testing the air on a deep pass — nearly intercepted by Declan Pyszka, who had perfect position before being brought down in a pile of bodies. The Myerstown defense didn’t blink. Behind the sure tackling of Luca Kirelawich, Logan Witmer, and Paxton Shepler, the unit tightened up and forced a turnover on downs at its own 26-yard line.

Backed up after a false start, the Panthers quickly found their rhythm. Chase Clubb muscled ahead for three yards, setting up Kaiden Vincent, who exploded off-tackle for a 32-yard touchdown run. Vincent’s burst through the second level ignited the sideline and the stands, and the successful extra-point run made it 7–0 with seven minutes left in the half.

The Cougars tried to respond, but Myerstown’s defense suffocated every attempt. When the offense later stalled after a reverse play, the defense took charge once again — flying to the ball and shutting down Kutztown’s ground game as the half ended with the Panthers firmly in control.

The second half opened with a spark from special teams. Kicker Abraham Galindo rolled a perfect onside kick up the sideline, where Chase Bair alertly pounced on it to give Myerstown possession. Though the offense couldn’t capitalize, the defense immediately slammed the door. Edge rusher Jackson Liskey went on a tear, recording three straight tackles to force a fourth-and-long, before Bair capped the stand with a key stop to turn the Cougars away.

With momentum fully on their side, the Panthers went back to work. Vincent ripped off a 14-yard run to close the third quarter, setting the tone for a punishing fourth-quarter drive. Behind the hard-nosed running of Vincent and Owen Hall— and the dominant blocking of Shepler, Oliver Moore, Cole Pond, Galindo, and Logan WeaverHall finished the drive with a one-yard touchdown plunge. The extra-point attempt was stopped, but Myerstown’s lead grew to 13–0, and the defense made sure that was all they’d need.

In the closing minutes, the defensive line of Shepler, Moore, Weaver, and Carson Oswald controlled the trenches, while linebackers Logan Witmer, Lucas Witmer, Kirelawich, and Patrick Lehman erased any hopes of a late rally. When Kutztown tried to stretch plays to the edge, Greyson Ream delivered two crushing tackles to seal the victory as the clock hit zero.

From start to finish, it was a total team effort — the kind that defines playoff football. The trenches were won, the backs ran with heart, the defense was relentless, and the energy never wavered. But what truly fueled the Panthers was the sea of black and red in the stands, their chants echoing across the field all afternoon. The players fed off that electricity, using it to dig deep and finish the job.

Up Next: With the 13–0 win, the Myerstown Panthers Mites advance to the BAYFL Championship Game next Sunday, where they’ll take on the Schuylkill Valley Panthers at Muhlenberg High School.

One more game. One more chance to bring a title back to Myerstown.

The Viking Pony team fell to a tough Red Land squad, 38–0, bringing their 2025 season to a close.

The Viking Midget team turned in a dominant performance against the New Cumberland Colts, earning a convincing 24–6 victory in a true team effort.

The Vikings set the tone early when a pulling block from guard Cam Kramer opened the lane for running back Sam Kline, who sprinted 55 yards for the game’s first touchdown. Moments later, defensive tackle Blayze Kimm blocked a punt and returned it 45 yards for a rare lineman touchdown — his second of the season. Before halftime, quarterback Markus Miller connected with wide receiver Nolan Anspach for a 25-yard strike. Kicker Titus Feagley was perfect, converting all three extra-point attempts to give the Vikings a commanding 24–0 halftime lead.

Although the Colts managed to score in the third quarter, the second half belonged to the Vikings’ disciplined defense. Linebacker Liam Good and defensive tackle Braden Kleinfelter anchored the unit with consistent pressure and strong tackling. Interceptions by Feagley and Miller halted key drives, while Weston Ritchie and Greyson McQuade combined for a highlight-worthy deflection — tipping the ball twice before linebacker Luke Bennethum secured the interception. To seal the win, Kline and Luke Copenhaver each forced critical fumbles, capping off a defensive effort that showcased contributions from every player on the field.

Up Next: With the win, the Viking Midgets have made the semifinals, where this weekend they will continue their push toward a Super Bowl berth
