The Falcons regrouped in the second half and found the end zone when quarterback Torrence Hubbard connected with Grayson Painter for a touchdown. The drive was set up by big plays from Caden Kane and Jojo Malandra, and the Falcons added a two-point conversion on a Hubbard pass to Trent Barlett. Though the Barons ultimately secured the victory, the Falcons showed progress and confidence, and will look to build on their performance as they take on Elizabethtown.

The Cedar Crest “C” Team pulled off a thrilling 14–8 double-overtime victory over Manheim Central, improving to 3–0 on the season. After the Barons struck first, Zach Tropps hauled in a huge reception down to the two-yard line, setting up Boston Speece’s touchdown. Chase Reesman broke up a pass on Manheim’s possession, and Kleinfelter sealed the win with an interception, securing an epic victory for the Falcons.

The Cedar Crest “D” Team traveled to Manheim Central and fell 19–6 in a tough outing. Offensively, Nico Aungst scored the team’s only touchdown. The offensive line—Weston Elder, Matthew Hornick, and Kolton Flickinger—played well against a strong Barons front. The Myerstown Midgets played one of the most exciting games of the season on the road at Blue Mountain, finishing in a hard-earned 20–20 tie. After a scoreless first quarter, the Eagles struck first, but Tucker Robert returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, with quarterback Corbin Showalter adding the extra point run for a 7–6 lead. Blue Mountain countered with a long touchdown pass, but the Panthers responded with runs from Marc Maldonado and Robert, along with a big pass completion to Brock Bair, setting up Showalter for a touchdown run. Robert’s extra point tied the game 14–14 at halftime.

In the fourth quarter, Blue Mountain broke the deadlock with a 55-yard touchdown run to go ahead 20–14. Refusing to fold, the Panthers forced a late fumble and drove down the field, with Robert and another key pass to Bair setting up the final dramatic score as Showalter connected with Robert in the closing seconds. Though the extra point was stopped, the Panthers walked away with a 20–20 tie, showcasing resilience and playmaking.

The opening drive featured a 70-yard march capped by a 2-yard touchdown run by Owen Hall, followed by an extra point. Kaiden Vincent added a 42-yard run before Hall punched it in for another score. On the ensuing kickoff, Abraham Galindo’s perfectly placed kick was recovered by the Panthers, setting up a passing series from Bennett Staudt, who went 5-for-5 on the day, with Vincent finishing the drive with a touchdown. The Myerstown Panther Mighty Mites battled hard but fell 27–0. The defense held firm through most of the first half until Blue Mountain scored in the closing seconds of the second quarter. In the third, Markus Hames recorded a sack and recovered a fumble, sparking the team, but the Eagles added points in the second half to secure the win. Late in the half, quarterback Markus Miller put the Vikings ahead with a clutch 20-yard touchdown run on fourth down, sending Northern Lebanon into halftime up 14–6.

The second half turned into a shootout. Waynesboro returned a punt for a touchdown, but Luke Bennethum answered with a 51-yard scoring run. Moments later, Luke Copenhaver scooped up a fumble forced by Kline and sprinted 40 yards for another defensive touchdown. Though the Stallions added a late score, the Vikings’ offensive line—Braden Kleinfelter, Jacob Bomberger, Darren Shifflett, Cameron Kramer, Kimm, and Greyson McQuaide—controlled the trenches to secure the win. Titus Feagley went 3-for-4 on extra points, capping off a complete team effort.

The Viking Pony squad battled hard but ultimately came up short against Waynesboro. Defensively, Lucas Hart and Gregory Bervil anchored the effort, with Hart’s tackling and Bervil’s constant backfield pressure slowing the Stallions’ attack. The highlight of the afternoon came when Kylan Hetrick snagged his first career interception, a play that energized the team and showcased his instincts. While the offense couldn’t quite find its rhythm, the Ponies continued to demonstrate toughness and determination.

The Viking Peewees lost a tight 7-0 game to Waynesboro.

The Northern Lebanon Smurfs continued their developmental journey against a strong Waynesboro squad. While the first half saw the Stallions break a few long runs, the second half showed real growth as the young Vikings forced two turnovers. Bacon Bortz ripped the ball away from a Waynesboro runner, and Jayden Torres came up with a key interception. Abel Moyer also stood out on defense with his effort and awareness. On offense, the line—anchored by Roman Valentin—improved as the game went on, paving the way for strong runs from Cooper Wonderley, Hudson Royer, and Miles Wiest. The Smurfs may not play for wins and losses, but each week they are gaining confidence, experience, and teamwork that will fuel their future success.

The Palmyra Peewees struggled to get going against a strong Tri-C team and dropped a 25–0 decision. Early scoring by the Panthers and a few injuries hindered the Cougars’ offensive rhythm, but the team gained experience and will look to rebound in future matchups.

The Palmyra Smurfs focused on development in an exhibition against a faster, more experienced team. The young Cougars once again showed resilience, banding together to shore up their defense and move the chains offensively, continuing their growth and confidence on the field.
