The Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers returned to their home course at Meadia Heights looking to catch Donegal, which had topped the previous two matches. However, Donegal once again came out on top, posting a team score of 353 to LS’s 358. Andrew Fabian led the way with an 83, followed by Ryan Smeltz (84) and James Peterson (90), while Chase Harsh (87), Grant Filius (89), Gabe Trout (91), and Reid Shultz (91) helped keep the Pioneers close.
Northern Lebanon turned in a strong third-place finish with a team score of 370. Collin Padovani tied for third individually with an 87, Mason Adams added 91, and Andrew Via shot 93. Ashton Yeager (104), Aidan Long (108), and Kohen Clark (119) rounded out the scoring, helping the Vikings maintain a balanced 6–6 record in Section 3 play.
ELCO posted a team score of 402, finishing fifth. Brett Wenger led the Raiders with a 93, followed by James Dolan(101), Grant Wenger (104), Boston Weiler (104), Brady Habecker (106), and Owen Halpin (120). Despite the tough outing, ELCO gained valuable experience to build on for future matches.
The teams will next head to Donegal’s Highlands Golf Course on September 9. Donegal, undefeated at 12–0, remains the team to beat, while Lampeter-Strasburg, Northern Lebanon, and ELCO all aim to climb the standings in another competitive round.
