The Lancaster Lebanon League held its second Section 3 golf match of the season on Tuesday, with Northern Lebanon hosting at Blue Mountain Golf Course. The challenging mountain layout tested every team, but it was Donegal once again claiming the top spot, continuing their dominant start to the year and improving to 8-0 overall.

Northern Lebanon & ELCO Battling

As hosts, Northern Lebanon put together a solid showing, finishing third with a team score of 348. Collin Padovani (80)led the Vikings with a top-5 finish, while teammates Aidan Long (88), Ashten Putt (90), and Andrew Via (90) gave NL the consistency they needed to stay competitive.

ELCO posted a 368 to take fourth overall. The Raiders were paced by Brady Habecker (86), followed closely by Brett Wenger (89) and Grant Wenger (91). Despite finishing off the podium, ELCO showed improvement and continues to build momentum for the matches ahead.

Donegal Remains Undefeated

The Indians showed both depth and consistency in their lineup, as all six golfers broke 100. With three players finishing inside the top five on the individual leaderboard, Donegal pulled away from the field to stay unbeaten in Section play. Their strong start positions them as the team to beat heading into the heart of the season.

Looking Ahead

The next Section 3 match is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2nd at Meadia Heights, the home course of Lampeter-Strasburg. With Donegal holding an early grip on first place, the rest of the field will look to close the gap on familiar turf.
