#6 Trinity 1, #2 Northern Lebanon 0 (District 3 Softball Class 4A Semi Final)

In what was an outstanding pitching duel, Lynsie Mauser scattered three hits and struck out eight, allowing an unearned run in the first, but the Lady Vikings were unable to generate much offense as they lost 1-0. Olivia Shutter tallied the lone hit for Northern Lebanon, a booming double to lead off the 6th, but a failed sac bunt and two infield outs ended the threat. The Vikings only had one other runner reach second base in the game, as Carley Umbrell walked in the 5thand was sacrificed to second by Kalyn Harmon, but that rally ended on a diving play on an Allison Hollenbach grounder.

NL will host #9 Big Spring, who lost to Kennard-Dale 4-2, on Thursday for a chance at third place and a trip to States.
