District 3 Playoffs

Palmyra finished the regular season with a 15-7 record, earning the #7 seed in the 5A District 3 Playoffs. As a result, they hosted Cocalico in the opening round.

There have been many times this season where the Lady Cougar defense has resembled a Brinks truck. The team’s defensive effort made this one of those games, as they locked it down and kept the Eagles from doing much on the offensive end. Addi Salus scored 7 points in the 1st quarter to set the tone in a game where Palmyra would not need to score much to win. By halftime, Palmyra led 23-19. In the 2nd half, they would only give up an additional 10 points as they cruised to the 14-point victory.

Salus finished the game with 11 points to lead Palmyra.

Palmyra (16-7) will now play #2 Susquehanna Township on Friday night.
